Groups one and two went to the Boys and Girls Club of Memorial Park. On site, Cyclones toured the facility and learned about the clubs' needs. They received suggestions on how a youth-led effort could meet the Club needs from Mr. A. J. Johnson, the director of the club.
After the tour, students brainstormed what needs they wanted to address. Cyclones also discusses project ideas and made a list of supplies for those projects.
The visit ended with Cyclones reading environmental books they borught on loan from the Come and Read with Me Program of the Metropolitan Library Systems.
